浅谈任务型教学在高职公共英语翻译教学中的应用

An analysis of the application of tasked-based teaching method in English translation teaching for non-English majors in higher vocational college

本文旨在讨论任务型教学法在高职公共英语翻译教学的应用。目前,高职学生英语翻译能力不强,翻译水平较差。传统呆板的教学方法是导致这一现象的重要原因之一,因此改进教学方法,提高学生学习的主动性和积极性,增加其对英语翻译的兴趣势在必行。任务型教学法在高职公共英语翻译教学中是新颖有效的方法,可以帮助学生由被动的学习转变成主动学习,从而提高学生的翻译能力。

The present paper focuses on the application of task-based teaching method in English translation teaching for non-English majors in higher vocational college. At present, the students' translating ability is weak and the level of their translation is not good enough in higher vocational colleges. Traditional inflexible method is the main cause of this phenomenon. To improve students' initiative, enthusiasm and interest in learning English, it is necessary for teachers to change their teaching methods. Task-based teaching method is original and effective in English translation teaching. It can be used to help students change their learning attitudes from passive learning to spontaneous learning so as to improve their translating ability.
