As a psychologist and psychiatrist, Jung put forward the 'collective unconsciousness' and 'Archetype' which is the core of the prototype criticism theory. The novel 'Dwelling Narrowness' uses spearhead to direct the social reality and reveals the living circumstances and emotional problems which contemporary urban people are face of.This article is in the context of Jung's archetypal criticism theory perspective to analyze Anima and Animus prototypes which are in Guo Hai-ping.
