小说有自己特殊的文体表达规范和方式,还有各自特殊的文化环境。不同的小说作者,又有各自创作和写作风格,本文以爱丽丝·门罗的短篇小说《逃离》为例,从门罗的语言特征、叙事手法等角度,对门罗小说的文体特征进行探究,来印证门罗小说的心理现实主义色彩,哥特式风格,以及其女性主义和美学体现。
