To Build a Fire is one of the masterpieces of American Realism famous writer Jack London.Jack London shaped a gold digger who is representing the industrial civilization.The digger has a strong will to survive and tries to conquer nature.In the final contest between man and nature,the digger has died.This article discusses human's arrogance to show that in the face of nature,human's endless desires can not conquer the nature.Besides human should have reverence to nature.
