专门用途英语教学目的是使大学生提高英语水平,获得专业学科知识,训练专业英语表达。传统的语法翻译式教学模式已经无法满足大学生对该课程的需求。在整体教学理念下进行的专业医学英语教学新模式实践旨在提高大学生的专业英语学习的实际效果,从教师的课堂灌输转变成培养学生自主学习的习惯和相互合作的学习方式。

ESP teaching aims to improve the level of college students' English,to obtain professional knowledge,to train professional EngUsh expression.Traditional grammar translation teaching mode has been unable to meet the requirements of the course.In the overall concept of teaching,new mode of professional medical English teaching practice,in order to improve the actual effect of college students learning English,teachers from the classroom teaching into the cultivation of students' autonomous learning habit and cooperative learning mode.
