图形—背景理论是认知语言学的一个重要理论,它可以从认知语言学的视角来阐释不同的语言现象。本文从图形—背景理论的基本思想出发,分别从简单句和复合句两个方面并结合实例分析,探讨了图形—背景理论在翻译研究中的应用。

The figure-ground theory is an important theory of cognitive linguistics, and it can explain different linguistic phenomena from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. Taking the basic idea of figure-ground theory as the starting point, this paper discusses the application of it in translation studies by means of analyzing examples from the aspects of simple sentence and compound sentence.
