高职高专英语写作现状调查与分析——以广东女子职业技术学院为例

摘要 本文以广东女子职业技术学院非英语专业学生为研究对象,通过分析他们的一次英语作文测试中词块的使用情况、写作综合能力及一次问卷调查,发现高职学生英语基础和综合应用能力差,英文写作水平低,词块使用现状不容乐观。针对这种情况,提出英语教学中应该培养学生的词块意识,增加词块产出的活动,帮助学生识别、积累和运用词块,逐步提高学生的写作产出能力。 Based on chunk theory, a survey and writing test has been carried out to explore vocational college students' writing competence and the actual use of chunks in their writing. The result shows that the writing competence of vocational college students is rather weak, and the use of chunks in their writing is not satisfactory. The research also shows that the frequency of chunk in the writing is low, but the difference appears. The high level learners use more chunks than the low level learners. The thesis puts forward that lexical approach should be employed in English teaching. Teachers should design some lexical activities to arouse learners' lexical awareness, help them accumulate and use chunks creatively.
