Pupils' Chinese reading ability has important effect on students' language learning, reading ability can help students understand and strengthen learning, improve the expression ability and writing ability of students, in improving the comprehensive ability of students' language learning plays a promoting role. This paper mainly analyzes the cultivation of primary school students' reading ability, and puts forward some strategies to improve students' reading ability.
