According to Adler's theory of inferiority complex, Ono's life is spent in the plight of inferiority complex, the manifestations of which are presented in multiple aspects. The origin of Ono's sense of inferiority is from his growth environment where his father is tyrannical and his mother is weak. Besides, the deeper sense of inferiority comes from the failure of his political career in which he advocate the Japanese militarism. In order to release the sense of inferiority, Ono tries to pursue superiority excessively and escape from the reality. As a result, his inferiority complex is aggravated instead of being released. In the end, Ono bravely faces his past fault, and transcends the inferiority complex with full hope for his later life.
