基于语料库的茅盾文学奖作品英译本翻译共性研究

A Corpus-based Study of Translation Universals in English Versions of Mao Dun Literary Prize Works

本文基于茅盾文学奖作品汉英平行语料库和英语国家语料库(BNC)中的小说库,对茅盾文学奖作品英译本的翻译共性进行研究。文章采用语内对比模式,以罕用词和高频词为检索项,考察茅盾文学奖作品英译本范化特征的存在情况,并从译者因素进行了原因分析。

Based on Chinese-English Parallel Corpus of Mao Dun Literary Prize Works and Novel Corpus of British National Corpus, this paper gives an analysis of translation universals in English translation of Mao Dun Literary Prize Works. Intralingual comparison verifies the existence of translation universals of normalization in English versions of Mao Dun literary prize works with regard to hapaxes and high frequency words. The paper gives a cause analysis from translator-related factors.
