The Controversy about The Classic of the Great Wilderness and Mr. Yang Yi

《山海经》是一部奇特的图文并茂的著作,蕴藏着宝贵的学术研究资料,其学术价值涉及多个学科领域。杨义先生曾在《<山海经>的神话思维》中集中讨论了《山海经》的思维方式,但他所做的概括,笔者认为值得商榷,因此,本文针对这一问题进行探讨,旨在说明中国神话不易于转化成叙事传统,而是图像性传统,春秋战国时期神话已逐渐被历史化和理性化,此时的神话思维已经不再是远古神话的那种原始的思维,而是那个时代的理性精神。

The Classic of the Great Wilderness is a unique illustrated book, contains valuable research data, its academic value involves many disciplines. Mr. Yang Yi focus on The Classic of the Great Wilderness' s way of thinking in the <The Classic of the Great Wilderness> myth thought, but the author considers the summary he made is questionable, therefore, this paper discusses this problem, aims to show that the Chinese myth is not easy to translate into narrative tradition, but the image of the traditional myth, the spring and autumn and Warring States the period has gradually been historical and rational, the myth of thinking is no longer the ancient myth that primitive thinking, but the rational spirit of the times.
