摘要
高等教育国际化对具有国际视野的复合型人才培养提出较高要求。本研究对江苏省61家高职院校的英语教师进行ESP教学现状的调查。调研发现:(1)ESP课程开设缺乏顶层设计;(2)教师的资格和身份存在多样化;(3)ESP职前培训严重不足;(4)所有院校使用的都是现成出版的教材。在分析调研的基础上,文章提出了"对ESP课程清晰定位,研发课程标准,顶层设计构建ESP教学共同体,以国际视野培养ESP教学团队以及构建基于语料库的ESP课程体系"的建议。
The internationalization of higher education calls for cultivating compound talents with international view. This study investigates the current situation of English for Specific Purposes(ESP) teaching among English teachers in 61 higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu province. Via questionnaires and interviews, the survey revealed that 1) ESP curriculum lacks top-level design; 2) the qualifications and identity of ESP teachers are diversified; 3) serious shortage of ESP pre-service training; 4) all colleges surveyed use ready-made textbooks. Based on an analysis of the results, the paper proposes clear positioning of the ESP curriculum& standards, constructing ESP teaching community through top level design, building ESP teaching team with international view and developing corpus-based curriculum.
