用中国英语讲中国故事——习近平新年贺词两译本的对比分析

Telling Chinese Stories Through the Agency of China English: A Contrastive Analysis of the two Versions of Xi Jinping's New Year's Greetings

中国英语是标准英语的规范变体之一,是中西文化相互影响的产物,反映了中国的特色文化。在中国文化"走出去"时代背景下,译者合理运用中国英语有益于中国本土文化的域外传播。通过对比分析习近平2017新年贺词两个英译本,清楚地发现其中一个译本能较好地使用中国英语讲述中国故事,借此给外宣翻译工作者以启示意义。

Chinese English is one of the standard Chinese variant of English, is a product of cultural interaction, reflects the characteristics of China culture. In Chinese culture of "going out" under the background of the translator, the rational use of China English is beneficial to Chinese local culture dissemination abroad. The analysis of Xi Jinping 2017 new year message through the two English versions contrast, clearly found that one version could make better use of Chinese Chinese to give English story about, translation workers to enlightenment.
