《红高粱》中葛浩文翻译思想之探析

葛浩文是美国著名翻译家、汉学家,近年来,葛浩文翻译了诸多中国现当代小说。莫言的《红高粱》获得了诺贝尔奖。葛浩文优秀的翻译对其获奖有功不可没的功劳。本文通过翻译家葛浩文的翻译思想:忠实、背叛、重写及跨文化交流活动来研究他所翻译的《红高粱》是否忠实于原作及其被广大目标语读者所接受的原因。

Ge Haowen is a famous American translator and sinologist. In recent years, he has translated many modern and contemporary Chinese novels. Mo Yan's "Red Sorghum" won the Nobel Prize. The outstanding translation of Ge Haowen has made great contribution to his award. This paper is based on the translation thought of the translator: faithfulness, betrayal. Rewriting and cross-cultural communication to study whether his translation of "Red Sorghum" is faithful to the original and why it has been accepted by the target language readers.
