图里翻译规范下《野草在唱歌》两个中译本的比较研究

A Comparative Study of two Chinese Versions of “Wild Grass is Singing”

吉迪恩·图里(Gideon Toury)是描述翻译学的代表人物之一。他提出的翻译规范理论在翻译领域产生了深远的影响。他的翻译规范包含三个方面分别为:初始规范,预备规范和操作规范。本文以吉迪恩·图里的三个翻译规范对多丽丝·莱辛《野草在唱歌》的1950年和1990年两个中译本进行比较研究,分析翻译规范下译者的翻译行为,方法和策略的不同,从而进一步证实图里翻译规范理论对文学译本的适用性。

Gideon Toury is one of the representative figures in descriptive translation, and his theory of translation norms has had a profound impact in the field of translation. His translation specification includes three aspects: initial norms. This paper compares the two Chinese versions of Doris Lessing's "Wild Grass is Singing" in 1950 and 1990 with the three translation norms of Gideon Toury. By analyzing the differences in translation behavior, methods and strategies under translation norms, the applicability of Toury's translation norms theory to literary translation is further confirmed.
