常州市公示语翻译现状与策略研究

A Study on the Current Situation and Strategies of Translating Public Signs in Changzhou City

公示语的翻译是城市形象对外宣传窗口。作为全国文明城市和全球人居环境城市,常州的对外交流日益广泛。本文通过对常州市各公共场所公示语的翻译现状进行了调研,对公示语翻译中存在的问题进行了探讨,并就如何改进常州市公示语翻译质量提出了相应的策略。

The translation of public signs is the window of publicity of city image. As a civilized city and a global human settlements city, Changzhou exchanges with other countries more and more widely. Based on a survey of the translation of public signs in public places in Changzhou, this paper probes into the problems existing in the translation of public signs and puts forward corresponding strategies to improve the translation quality of public signs in Changzhou.
