随着社会的发展,口译工作在国际交流中地位越来越高,科技的进步使口译工作不再只单纯依靠人力,语音识别及机器翻译的加入使口译工作更加简单方便,但由于机器翻译与语音识别技术口译语料库规模不够完善,使得翻译出来的内容死板、单词词义转换不够灵活。口译工作对互联网技术与计算机翻译功能提出更高要求。本文将对口译工作中机器翻译与语音识别所存在的优势与劣势进行探讨,说明新时代语音识别与机器翻译对口译工作具有一定辅助作用。

With the development of society, the status of interpreting is becoming more and more important in international communication. With the development of science and technology, the interpretation work no longer depends solely on manpower, and the addition of speech recognition and machine translation makes interpreting more simple and convenient.However, due to the imperfect scale of the interpretation corpus, the translated content is rigid and the word meaning conversion is not flexible enough.The interpretation work puts forward the higher request to the Internet technology and the computer translation function.This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of machine translation and speech recognition in interpreting, and points out that the new era of speech recognition and machine translation play an important role in interpreting.
