Reading groups, as a kind of reading activity, is developing continuously. This paper introduces the concept of reading group and the development of reading group in China and Hong Kong and Taiwan. Taking some public libraries as an example, this paper analyzes the development of reading club activities and the significance of public library operating reading clubs, and probes into the feasibility of the public library.
