思辨能力是当代大学生应该具备的重要能力之一,提高学生的思辨能力是每一位教育者应该认真思考的问题。对分课堂是最近刚刚兴起的教学模式,因其在启发学生思维方面的优势而受到广泛欢迎。将对分课堂应用到英语专业课程教学来验证能否其有效提高学生的思辨能力具有积极的现实意义和研究价值。

Critical thinking ability is one of the important abilities which should be possessed by the college students nowadays.Each educator should think over how to help students enhance this kind of ability.PAD class is a newly-developed teaching pattern which has become more and more popular in China because of its obvious advantages in inspiring students.Applying PAD class into the main courses of English Major to prove whether it can improve the students’ critical thinking ability is of positive practical significance and research value.
