目的论视角下《哈姆雷特》片段两个译本的对比研究

A Comparative Study of Two Chinese Versions of Hamlet from the Perspective of Skopos Theory

本文首先对卞之琳与朱生豪两位译者的翻译目的进行总结,大致包括四个主要目的:"为传承翻译思想而译"、"为预期读者而译"、"为赞助商而译"以及"为时代所需而译"。再者,以朱生豪与卞之琳的《哈姆雷特》片段为语料,从德国功能派翻译理论的核心部分——目的论出发,在各自的翻译目的指导下,两个译者选择了不同的翻译策略与翻译方法,本文从词汇、音律、双关语三个层面对两个译本进行对比分析。使读者对原著和译文之间的转译有更好的理解。

This paper firstly summarizes the translation purposes of two translators of Bian Zhi-lin and Zhu Sheng-hao,which mainly includes four main purposes including Translating for representing their thought of translation','translating for their expected readers','translating for their sponsors' and 'translating for the needs of The Times'.Secondly,this paper chooses Zhu Sheng-hao’s and Bian Zhi-lin’s Chinese version of Hamlet(excerpt) and uses the skopos theory which is the core of German function translation theory to explore which translation strategies and methods are chosen by the two translators in the aspects of lexicon,melody and pun in order to make readers understands the original work and translated versions better.
