Montesquieu’s idea of separation of powers once played a very important role in the political system of western countries. In the national political system, the three powers should be in charge of different institutions and personnel respectively, so as to provide effective maintenance for the political rights of citizens in the country, and only in this way can the political freedom of citizens be realized. This article will try to analyze and explore the reason and content of Montesquieu’s thought from the power balance, and the function and influence of the separation of powers thought in our country, in order to understand the three powers separation thought more deeply.
