通过经典英文电影培养中学生的英语学科核心素养

Developing Middle School Students' Core Competences Through Classic English Movies in ET

自2014年3月教育部提出"核心素养"一词以来,有关如何培养学生核心素养的话题讨论热度一直高涨。培养学生英语学科核心素养是深化英语课程改革的重大举措之一。在实际操作层面上,目前还缺乏具体的教学措施。因此,本文提出通过经典英文电影的教学,来培养中学生的英语学科核心素养。通过欣赏经典英文电影原汁原味的语言和真实的交流情境,丰富多彩的故事情节,以及其深厚的文化底蕴,学生们能获得语言能力、文化品格、思维品质、学习能力等方面的提高,进而达到英语学科核心素养的提升。

Since the Ministry of Education proposed the term 'core competences' in March 2014, there has been an upsurge of discussion on how to cultivate students’ core competences. Cultivating core competences of students in English is one of the major measures to deepen the reform of English curriculum. At the practical level, there are still a lack of specific teaching measures. Therefore, this paper proposes to cultivate middle school students’ core competences through classic English movies in English teaching(ET). With the native English language, authentic communication situations, colorful plots and profound cultural background in classic English movies, middle school students can gain improvement in language ability, cultural character, thinking quality and learning ability so as to achieve the improvement of the core competences on English subject.
