On Confucian Innovation from the Perspective of Cultural Self-confidence

习近平总书记在党的十九大报告中明确指出要"坚定文化自信",因为"文化自信是更基础、更广泛、更深厚的自信"。显然,儒家文化是中国传统文化的最主要的组成部分。那么,如何把握好这一具有深厚影响力的文化内涵,使其适应我国新时代中国特色社会主义的发展要求,为我所用,是值得我们深入研究的重大问题。

In the report of the Party’s Nineteenth Congress, General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly stated that we must 'strengthen the cultural selfconfidence' because 'cultural confidence is a more basic, broader, and deeper confidence'. Obviously, the Confucian culture is the most important part of Chinese traditional culture. How to grasp this profoundly influential cultural connotation and adapt it to the requirements of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and use it, is a major issue worthy of our in-depth study.
