With the rapid development of economy in China, higher education has been paid more and more attention by all walks of life, and has also brought about the problem of high consumption of talents. The phenomenon of high talent consumption has produced many adverse effects, especially on the education system and talent market. This paper probes into the causes and effects of the problem of high consumption of talents from the angle of economics, and puts forward some effective suggestions and countermeasures.
