'Constitution' is the solid foundation for the normal operation of our socialist market economy system. In principle, the Constitution establishes the form of our country’s economic system and guarantees the political and economic rights of all the lawful citizens. With the development of society, the improvement of constitution needs to be strengthened with the change of situation. Pay attention to the function of constitution, make constitution play the function of macroeconomic regulation and control of abnormal economy better. Starting from the economic function of the Constitution, this paper will deeply study and analyze the economic significance of the development of the Constitution under the condition of market economy.
