酒店行业岗位英语能力需求调查分析及教学对策——以辽宁省某高校为例

The Investigation and Analysis of the Demand for English Competence in Hotel Industry and the Teaching Countermeasures: A Case Study of a University in Liaoning Province

通过对辽宁省大连市多所国际化星级酒店人力资源部门相关负责人的深入访谈,调查及研究笔者工作院校旅游管理专业学生驻店顶岗实习过程中英语技能运用情况,从而对酒店从业人员的英语能力需求进行深入了解,并根据调研结果提出大学英语教学改革的对策和建议以使旅游或酒店管理相关专业毕业生更好地满足酒店方对从业人员的英语能力需求。

Through the in-depth interview with the responsible persons of human resources departments of several internationalized star hotels in Dalian, Liaoning Province, the author investigates and studies the application of English skills in the practice of tourism management students of the author’s working colleges. In order to understand the needs of hotel employees’ English ability, based on the research results, the author puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the reform of college English teaching in order to make the graduates of tourism or hotel management majors better meet the needs of the hotel staff in English proficiency.
