Under the background of Internet era, dispute resolution mechanism faces new challenges and opportunities. The growing number of online disputes promotes the generation of online dispute resolution mechanisms and forms a unique feature. The establishment and perfection of online dispute mediation mechanism provides new ideas and directions for the reform of non-litigation dispute resolution mechanism and brings new opportunities and challenges to the reform and development of dispute resolution mechanism. This paper analyzes the background and deficiency of online dispute mediation, and puts forward some suggestions to promote the development and perfection of dispute resolution mechanism.
