An Analysis of the Causes of Love Tragedy in “Border Town”

《边城》中的爱情在一群淳朴善良的人群中却变成一个令人伤感的悲剧,这出悲伤无限的爱情悲剧,有翠翠自己的问题,有傩送兄弟的原因,以及封建法制对婚姻的限制和损益标准等各种因素的原因。所以《边城》中的爱情悲剧看似偶然,实则必然,此文从三个角度来分析其爱情悲剧行成的原因。首先,分析《边城》中各种人物特征对爱情悲剧形成的影响,然后,论述了在湘西现代文明的影响下造成了不能忽视的利益和权力等社会因素;最后,从作者的写作意义来看,深刻感悟到了爱情悲剧形成的原因及其更深的意义。

Love in'Border Town'has turned into a sad tragedy among a group of honest and kind people,this tragedy is full of sorrow and infinite love tragedy,including Cuicui’s own problems,the reasons for nuosong brothers,the restrictions of feudal legal system on marriage and the standards of profit and loss.Therefore,the love tragedy in'Border Town'seems accidental,but it is inevitable,this article analyses the reasons of its love tragedy from three perspectives.Firstly,it analyses the influence of various characters in'Border Town'on the formation of love tragedy,then,it discusses the social factors such as interests and rights that can not be ignored under the influence of modern civilization in Western Hunan,finally,from the author’s writing significance,it deeply understands the causes and deeper significance of the formation of love tragedy.
