本文所研究的梵蒂冈教廷图书馆所藏手稿(Borg.Cin.316[7]),是目前所知第一篇用中文写成的描写多罗来华的文章,具有重要的史料价值。与现有的'礼仪之争'诸多中文材料相比,这篇材料立论写作均有独特之处,尤其对耶稣会士在'礼仪之争'中的所作所为颇有非议,反映出这场争论中教徒的不同心声。笔者通过对手稿的笺注,认为此手稿约写于1707-1710年间,作者洞悉教中事务,应该是教会的相公。

The anonymous manuscript at the Vatican Library(Borg.Cin.316:7)is the Grst Chinese document which depicts Carlo Tommaso Maillard de Toumon’s(1668-1710)legation to China.Compared to other Chinese sources at that time,this manuscript criticizes the Jesuits and their activities against the Papal Legate.In this paper the authors point out that it was completed in 1707-1710 and was probably written by a Chinese catechist from Missions Etrangeres de Paris.As a case study,the authors analyze different voices of Chinese Christians during the Chinese Rites Controversy.
