乾嘉时期清廷的西方文化政策

Qing’s Policy of Western Culture in the Period of Qianlong and Jiaqing

乾嘉时期是清朝历史上的一个重要时期,也是中西力量对比易位的前夜。考察这一时期清廷的西方文化政策是很有意义的。本文依据新近出版的清代档案及其他中外文史料,从四个方面探讨了这一问题。①闭关自守的海外政策;②严行禁教的各项措施;③对西方传教士的使用与限制;④对西方科学的吸纳与排拒。

The period of Qianlong and Jiaqing was the important period of Qing Dynasty and the eve of Chinese-foreign comparison of strenght.It is very significant to investigate the policy of the western culture at that time.According to the documents published lately and Chinese and foreign materials,the article researches the problem from four aspects:closed—door foreign policy;the measures of strictly prohibiting on doing missionary work;the use and limit of western missionaries;absorbing and restricting of the western science.
