Studies on the Offical Called An Bing who Lived in the Nan Song Dynasty at the Area of Sichuan

安丙是南宋中期四川地区的一名重要官员。他一生在平定吴曦叛国降金和'红巾队'叛乱以及治理四川等方面建功立业,是一名基本值得肯定的历史人物。同时,他的失误也不少,如嫉贤妒能,残杀'武兴之变'中另外两位功臣,即杨巨源、李好义;心胸狭窄,才能有限,导致四川一度'军政不立,戎帅多不协和',对金战争屡次失利等。

An Bing was an important official at the area of Sichuan during the middle of the Nan Song Dynasty.His life was positive basically.He got outstanding achievements in putting down the revolt of Wu Xi who betrayed the Nan Song Dynasty and surrendered Jin and in governing Sichuan.On the other hand,An Bing was not a perfect person,he was envious of the worthy and the able.He made some huge mistakes,such as killing Yang Juyuan and Li Haoyi who had rendered outstangding service in the Event of Wuxing.An Bing was narrowmingded and limited talented in that of leading to Sichuan became the area which the military discipline was laxed and the system of administration did not work well.Finally Nan Song Dynasty failed in the war to the Jin repeatedly.
