In this paper,the authors presented the design idea and method of a quick open shut mechanism,analyzed the motional and dynamic relation on which the mechanism is designed and manufactured.This mechanism is characterized by quickness,continuousness,simplicity and handiness,and it can open cover to and let the cover stay at any position.There is no power needed to operate this mechanism.The basic theory put forward in this paper applies to other similar occasion,too.
