How Germany Rebuilt and Enlivened Its Old Industrial Bases

改造与振兴我国的老工业基地,是我国经济发展中亟待解决的重要问题。在此,我们刊登两篇有关德国与美国改造与振兴老工业基地的调查报告,以期有分析地借鉴发达国家改造老工业基地的基本经验。

In the 80s, China made great achievements in developing its economy, which is owing to the successful political and economic structural reforms and correct political and economic policies. But the national economy is now facing problems such as low economic benefit, irrational economic structure and so on. In future 5 to 10 years, effective measures should be taken to better economic structure, to run well large and middle enterprises and to raise economic benefit in order to realise the goal of a sustained, stable and coordinative national economy.It's of great importance for China's economy how we rebuild and enliven our old industrial bases. We hereby offer two essays on German and American experience in rebuilding their old industrial bases, so that we Chinese can learn some basic experiencn in rebuilding out-of-date industries from developed countries.
