When it comes to drama,Chongqing has a glorious past and still has a deep mass base.Barely over 10 years after its completion,the Chongqing Grand Theater has brought nearly 3,000 performances to Chongqing.Last June at the"Changjiahui-First Chongqing Nanbin International Drama Festival",theatrical troupes from 24 countries including France,Hungary and Cyprus completed 228 performances,attracting an audience of over 600,000 people in 3 days.
