Macroeconomic Regulation Dilemmas in Developing Countries from the Impacts for the First Anniversary of Indian Demonetisation

印度废钞令实施已时隔一年,究竟效果如何,是否达到预期目标?本文在深入研究废钞令实施背景和效果的基础上,剖析所谓追随废钞的国家为代表的发展中国家所面临的宏观调控困境,并以此为鉴,认为我国不宜效仿莫迪政府,应当立足于长远,寻求适合自身长期发展的破解之策。

India demonetisation has been implemented for more than one year. Can the pain of short-term reform bring positive effects? Starting from the evaluation of the implementation, this paper argues that macroeconomic regulation dilemmas in those developing countries which claimed to emulate India. As a warning, developing countries should avoid the lessons of India demonetisation and seek solutions to their own development in the long run.
