Sustainable Consumption, Energy Policy and Individual Well-Being

摘要 有些商品和服务仅是生存所需。在此之外,商品和服务的效用则取决于其对个人幸福感的贡献度。对个人而言,情感感受远较物质感受重要;生活质量也远较财富占有更有意义。幸福感是一个多维度的概念,它既包含诸如健康等客观因素,同时也包含主观幸福因素。由此,对幸福感的度量亦同时涉及客观度量和主观度量。本文中,我们将对各种度量幸福感的方法,以及它们所揭示的物质财富与幸福感之间的关系,进行深入剖析。 Some goods and services are simply needed for survival. Beyond that level, goods and services are useful to the extent they contribute to well-being. In the end, what people own matters less to them than how they feel; possessions count for less than quality of life. Well- being is a multi-dimensional concept that includes objective factors such as health, but a key factor is subjective happiness. Efforts to develop metrics for quality of life involve both objective and subjective measures. In this paper, we explore these measures and what they tell us about the relationship between wealth and welfare.
