From Monetary Economics to Monetary Politics——A Comment on Negri's Interpretation of“Currency”in the Grundrisse by Marx

奈格里认为"《大纲》是马克思革命思想的顶点",因而致力对该书作政治哲学解读。他强调货币理论在马克思《大纲》中的首要的、中心的地位,继而将马克思关于货币的政治经济学系统地阐释为一种货币政治学。奈格里对《大纲》"货币章"的解读坚持了物质生产与阶级斗争在历史进程中的决定作用的基本立场,拓展与深化了对作为权力的货币的认识,但也存在着将马克思思想后结构主义化的严重偏向,反映了20世纪70年代在西方马克思主义中来势汹涌的后现代转向。

Negri believes that the Grundrisse is a peak of Marx's revolutionary ideas,thus he interprets this book from the perspective of political philosophy. He emphasizes that monetary theory occupies the primary and central position in the Grundrisse and further systematically interprets Marx's political economics on currency as a sort of monetary politics. Negri's interpretation adheres to the basic standpoint that material production and class struggle play a decisive role in the process of history,and expands and deepens the understanding of currency as power; however,there exists a serious deviation that Marx's ideas are post- structuralized,which reflects a postmodern turn of western Marxism in the 1970s.
