The Poems and proses written by Yuan Zhen spread widely in Tang dynasty,and have a far-reaching influence on later generations. However,numerous poems and proses not written by Yuan Zhen are often misdeemed to be written by him. Several examples are given in this article to probe into how to discriminate the inauthentic poems and proses,which were not written by Yuan Zhen.
