研究认为0～3岁婴幼儿的早期教育极为重要,扫描国外公共图书馆0～3岁婴幼儿的服务项目发现,形式以馆内服务为主,有延伸到家庭的阅读项目、与社区中心及非营利组织合作的项目,以及服务残障等特殊婴幼儿人群的项目。国外学者在研究婴幼儿服务时采用了许多非传统的方法:参与观察、个体差异性视角、大量个案跟踪研究、引入资源干预的模式,更好地了解了婴幼儿的需求,从而指导实践工作。
