42CrMo钢齿圈毛坯的水-空交替控时淬火工艺 被引量:6

Water-air alternative timed quenching process of 42CrMo steel gear ring blank

摘要 42CrMo钢齿圈毛坯的淬火通常采用油淬或聚合物水溶液淬火来避免淬火的开裂,但油淬或聚合物水溶液淬火导致严重的环境污染。改用水淬不仅可满足绿色环保的要求而且可降低成本,但极易产生开裂。针对上述问题,本研究基于温度场、组织场和应力场的有限元模拟,获得优化的水-空交替控时淬火冷却(ATQ)工艺,成功应用于大直径(ф1970 mm)的42CrMo钢齿圈毛坯的淬火冷却。结果表明:采用ATQ工艺处理42CrMo钢齿圈毛坯,不仅回火后的力学性能高于性能指标要求,而且有效避免了淬火开裂。 The 42CrMo steel gear ring blanks are usually quenched by oil or aqueous polymer,which can effectively avoid cracking during quenching.However,the quenching by oil or aqueous polymer will lead to severe pollution.Water-quenching,replacing oil or aqueous polymer-quenching,can meet the requirement of green environmental protection and lower cost of quenching media,but easily causes cracking.In order to solve the issue mentioned above,the finite element simulation of temperature field,microstructure field and stress field was used to obtain the optimum process of water-air alternative timed quenching(ATQ),and the process was successfully applied in the quenching of large-sized 42CrMo steel gear ring blank with diameter of 1970 mm.The result indicates that the 42CrMo steel gear ring blanks quenched by the ATQ process and tempered can avoid cracking during quenching,improve the mechanical properties,which are higher than the targeted values.
