机体所需营养物质能否及时在小肠进行消化及吸收,其前提是入胃食物是否按正常速度进入小肠。许多学者已报导,射线可以导致胃排空减慢,但对照射后胃排空的损伤与恢复过程,尚缺乏规律性认识。受照射动物由于不适时地经口进食,可以出现长时间的胃内食物滞留,以致发酵、腐败。
The gastric emptying rale has been investigated on irradiated mice and rats by means of both weighing the gastric remains and serial radiography following a barium meal. The data obtained after 600—2400 rad whole body exposure in mice indicated that there was a linear correlation between radiation dose and degree of gastric emptying (r=0.987). Gastric emptying time in rafs was quickly delayed after 800 rad irradiation. At the 1st hour after irradiation the emptying time was eight times as much as normal. The greatest delay of gastric emptying was observed on the 3rd day after irradiation and the half barium emptying time (t(1/2)) was increased from 2.0±0.3 to 23.8 ±5.0 hours at the same time. On the 5th day after irradiation the function of gastric emptying began to recover and its complete recovery was observed at the 30th day. Based on the above-mentioned results and our previous work concerning the changes of intestinal epithelium after γ-irradiation, we suggest that thet nutrients and medicines be given parenterally in the early stage after LD80 γ-irradiation.
