This article describes introduction of random service theory and reliability design method in maintenance and management of electrical equipment during optimization of system engineering in Medium Plate Plant of Nanjing Iron and Steel Co.Ltd, and explores a set of reliability guarantee methods for electrical equipment based on actual conditions on site
