Role of practical teaching in the theory teaching about mechanical design course

机械设计是工科学生的基础课程,其内容多、实践环节薄弱、学生掌握程度欠佳,基于此,提出了基于常规理论教学方法的综合教学方法:实践教学与理论教学的交错应用。研究和分析了机械设计课程在这种新教学模式下的特点。该方法是以理论教学为基础,加入创新教学思路,将实践教学融入到理论教学中,实现了理论知识的升华,激发学生的积极性与创造兴趣,提高学生的认知与动手能力,是时代趋势下的新型人才培养目标及教学方式的体现。

Mechanical design is a basic course for engineering students, it has a lot of problems such as more contents,weak practical courses, less proficiency in using theoretical knowledge and so on. So this paper proposed a general teaching method based on the conventional theory teaching method, which is the interlacing application of practice teaching and theory teaching. The characteristics of mechanical design course in this new teaching mode are studied. This new method integrate practical teaching into theoretical teaching, which realize the sublimation of theoretical knowledge, stimulate students’ enthusiasm and creation interest, and improve the students’ cognition and practice ability, based on the theory of teaching and innovative teaching ideas. It is the embodiment of the new talent training target and teaching method under the trend of the times.
