摘要 Investigation of metabolic changes of host cells in tissue culture caused by Rickettsia tsutsugamushi helps to elucidate the pathogenesis and mechanism of immunity in scrub typhus. We used the histochemical methods for observing the changes of nucleic acids in the rabbit testicular monolayer tissue culture inoculated with R. tsutsugamushi. The method of preparation and inoculation of the tissue culture was the same as already reported. In the present experiment a glass slide was first inserted into the tube. before introduction of tissue cells. Examination was made once every 4 days after the cells had been inoculated with rickettsia. On the days
