摘要
The distribution, strata and constituents of loess soils in China have long been systematically studied and discussed. This article is mainly an account of studies on the microstuctures and regularity of regional variation of loess soils with the scanning electron microscope and at the same time a method for the classification of these microstructures is proposed. These studies have practical significance for the determination of loess collapsibility and its evaluation in engineering geology.
