摘要 Injectio Zhishi (枳实) as an extraction from Zhishi (Citrus Aurantium L.) has proved of its marked pressor and cardiac inotropic effects. Its active principles as isolated were identified as synephrine and N-methyltyramine, the former acting directly on the adrenergic receptors while the latter indirectly by releasing catecholamine in the body(1,2)Its effectiveness and obvious advantages in the treatment of shock of various etiology have been proved by clinical applications(3,4)But according to experimental observations, with large dosages it occasionally causes arrhythmia such
