摘要
B. R. McDonald mentioned in Geometry and Algebra Over Logic Rings that D. G. James had raised a question (i.e. Theorem 1 of this paper). This paper deals with the solution of this question and at the same time settles the question concerning linear groups and symplectic groups over the local rings.
