摘要
In 1978—1979, when our marine investigation vessel 'Xiangyanghong' took part in the First Garb Global Experiment (FGGE), surface layer and columnar core sediment samples were collected from several thousand meters deep in the west of the Central Pacific Ocean floor. We found by analysis that they contain many iron, silicate and glassy silicate spherulites, considered to be cosmic dust coming from outside the earth.
