摘要 Nuclear polyhedrosis virus (NPV) is a category of insect baculovirus which can cause the death of their hosts. Bombyx mori L. NPV is the pathogen of silkworm joundice. Some researches concerning the isolation, physical and chemical characterizations and infectivity of silkworm NPV-DNA have been reported. Since NPVs are species-specific and safe to vertebrate, some NPVs have been used at present as nonpollution biological pesticides. This calls for further studies of the NPV genome.
