摘要
During the survey of hemogiobinopathies, a fast moving hemoglobin was found in one Chinese male of Zhuang nationality in Wuming County of tire Zhuang Autonomous Region of Guangxi. Same electrophoretic bands were found in seven persons in his family. The propositus was healthy in appearance, having no clinical symptom at all and being normal also in haemotology. The abnormal hemoglobin in his hemolysate was evaluated by cellulose acetate membrane electrophoresis and found to be 19.4%. Isolation of the globin chains was performed by CM-cellulose chromatography in 8M urea and one fast chain (a^x chain)
